Proyecto de Día de los Muertos
Día de los Muertos is a day to honor the dead and give thanks/welcome them back for the day. On this day you go to their tomb and put all their favorite things by it including marigolds. There is celebration and happiness all around. The history of this day actually dates back 3,000 years to the Aztecs. They had this belief that the soul live on and it ended up becoming a Mexican tradition. In Spanish class we honored the tradition by making obituaries and poems about skeletons.
